About Project 18
Project 18 is a textiles based non-profit programme for young people in Birmingham. Based in a working studio in the Jewellery Quarter, 16 – 18-year-olds from the surrounding communities have the opportunity to design and make products over five full days. They then sell the products they have made at an organised event.
Outreach
In order for the project to be more sustainable and to reach a wider audience, Project 18 is able to offer bespoke sessions, workshops and programmes for schools, community groups and organisations. We work with you to offer a tailored approach for your group. A portion of our fee goes towards funding the studio programme. If this sounds like something for you, then please get in contact.

Support Us
As a non profit project with social good at its core for young people, we rely on financial support from others. Our studio sessions are currently delivered on a voluntary basis. If you would like to make a difference in a young persons creative journey, why not consider donating.
Make a donation
Project 18 aims to be as sustainable as possible with limited support from public funding. All monies taken at events are reinvested in the programme as is a portion of our fee for outreach work. We really appreciate the support from others, as do the young people who take part in activities.
